For the kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 14:17).

Christ expects His followers to be righteous (Matt. 5:6, 10). “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” (Titus 2:11-12). “All unrighteousness is sin” (I John 5:17).

· Study

In order to perform Christian living, one should always study the word of God. It is really not that easy to understand, that is one must be devoted in studying it. Most schools in Christian countries have Christian Living subjects in their curriculum. It is also taught in church, bible study programs, and others.

· Faithfulness

Of course, one must always have faith. All of the religions in the world have faith. It is the faith that their God would be there for them and love them no matter what. And that His love is never ending. Most of us have been moved by faith and can see miracles being made through it. That is the strong belief that everything is possible if we have a God that we believe in.

· Love

This is something that every religion has; to love one another. It is actually the greatest of all the 10 commandments of God, which is to LOVE one another. It seems very easy for people to love one another. But when you are bound to have people that are making your life difficult, it would be really hard. That is where God’s challenge really comes. It is the question of whether you can love everyone, even if they do bad things to you.

We are expected to love even those who hate us (Matt. 5:43-47, Rom. 12:14). “Strive for peace with all men” (Heb. 12:14, Rom. 12:18).

· Service

Christians must serve during their life. It can either be through giving, feeding the poor, offering sacrifices, and doing church works. This is also related to the giving of love. As Christians, they are encouraged to give service, not only to their co-Christians but also to other people having different beliefs.
